Glenn Roldan, BS RPSGT Glenn Roldan is the director of Sleep Educators and has more than 21 years of experience as a Polysomnographic Technologist. He started his training at the Stanford Sleep Disorders Clinic. While working at Stanford, he was given the opportunity to perform clinical and research studies. After working at Stanford, he accepted a Chief Polysomnographic Technologist position in Southern California before starting up the Atlanta School of Sleep Medicine & Technology in Atlanta, Georgia. After working in Atlanta for 5 years, he returned to his home state of California and served as Clinical Director for several sleep centers. lenn has extensive experience with AASM accreditation and reaccreditation. He is considered a world renowned speaker on sleep disorders and has given talks in over 9 countrie and 45 out of the 50 States. Glenn has a knack for “teaching sleep”. Lalaine V. Gedal, BS RPSGT Lalaine has over 14 years of experience as a Polysomnographic Technologist. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology, a Bachelor of Science degree in Respiratory Therapy, and has completed additional coursework at the Stanford School of Sleep Medicine in Palo Alto, California, USA Her wide range of professional experience includes holding the positions of Education and Training Manager - Asia Pacific for Sleep Diagnostics and Therapeutics for Covidien Respiratory & Monitoring Solutions Singapore, Clinical Manager at Doctors Medical Center (Tenet Healthcare Corporation) Sleep Disorders Center, Pinole, California, USA; Polysomnographic Technician at Morristown Memorial Hospital - Sleep Disorders Center, Morristown, New Jersey, USA; Polysomnographic Technician at Candler Hospital Sleep Disorders Medicine, Savannah, Georgia, USA. Sonia Lee-Gushi, RPSGT, CRT Sonia is a registered Polysomnographic Technologist and a certified Respiratory Therapist with an Associate of Science in Respiratory Therapy. With over 20 years as a Sleep Technologist, Sonia transitioned to healthcare information technology in 2001, supporting the development of telehealth & telemedicine applications for the U.S. Army's Asia-Pacific basin as Research Coordinator at the Pacific Telehealth & Technology Hui. In 2005, Sonia served as an Application Analyst for Blue Cliff, Inc, a healthcare technology development company with expertise in public-sector version of the Veterans Administration VistA-EMR. Today, Sonia supports business and healthcare IT programs and project management, policy and procedure development, and organizational change management as a Consultant for BEI Consulting.
Dr. Haramandeep Singh, MD Dr. Singh is a Board Certified Sleep Medicine Specialist who's expertise includes the evaluation and treatment of adults and children with the gamut of sleep disorders; the reading and interpretation of polysomnographic assessments including diagnostic, titration, split night, multiple sleep latency, maintenance of wakefulness tests; initiation and management of positive airway pressure devices; medical directorship of sleep laboratories and centers. Dr. Singh's education and clinical training has included Sleep Medicine Fellowship (PGY V), Chief Fellow, at UT Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, TX; a Psychiatry Residency (PGY II-IV) at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD; an Internal Medicine Internship (PGY 1) at University of Chicago Hospitals, Chicago, IL. Dr. Singh received his M.D. from Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis, MO, USA and graduated (Summa Cum Laude; Phi Beta Kappa) with a B.S. in Biology from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
Carol Yoshimura, RPSGT, RRT, senior respiratory therapist for the Pulmonary Sleep Disorders Center at Kuakini Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. Carol Yoshimura is a registered Polysomnographic Technologist and a registered Respiratory Therapist with an Associate of Science in Respiratory Therapy and an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts. She has 11 years of experience at the Kuakini Medical Center, Honolulu, Hawaii working as a staff therapist in its Respiratory Therapy department and worked the past 17 years in the Kuakini Medical Center’s Pulmonary Sleep Disorders Center. She was also the primary instructor and coordinator for the Hawaii School of Sleep Medicine and Technology at Kuakini Medical Center from 1996 to 2002. She is presently the Secretary for the Hawaii Sleep Society.
